‘I Promise We’re Cool’: Lord Miller Produces Universal’s High School Sci-Fi Comedy From ‘Found Footage’ Director Max Tzannes

The dynamic duo of Christopher Miller and Phil Lord is backing a new sci-fi high school comedy at Universal Pictures called “I Promise We’re Cool,” coming off their massive success of “Project Hail Mary” starring Ryan Gosling. They’ll be producing the “high concept” feature that hails from actor/writer Charlie Hall (son of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who is new to studio screenwriting) and “Found Footage” director Max Tzannes.
